JPI Urban Europe provides companies and organizations interested in urban development a great opportunity to get involved in European research cooperation. The third call for proposals has just been launched.
The call for proposals on the ERA-NET COFUND Smart Cities and Communities theme consists of two stages. The first “pre-proposal”stage closes on March 17, 2015.
The priority areas of the project linked to the EU Horizon 2020 framework program are smart integrated energy and transport systems and related solutions and services, smart and big data, smart governance, and involvement of people in urban development.
Funding for the project worth around €26 million comes from the EU Commission and national financiers of 12 countries. Finnish funding is coordinated by Tekes.
